Jim co-founded Confluence Financial Partners for the same reason he joined the financial services industry in the first place – to make a positive difference in people’s lives. His client relationships, whether decades-long or newly-formed, remain the most gratifying aspect of his practice.

Jim brings to bear nearly 30 years of experience in the securities industry – and a steadfast commitment to acting in his clients’ best interests. Since 1993, Jim has helped a wide range of clients define and pursue their financial goals. Originally from Washington, D.C., Jim earned a degree in finance and accounting from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business.

Equally invested in serving Confluence’s greater community, Jim’s involvement benefits many organizations, including Auberle, Mooncrest Neighborhood Programs, Family Promise of Southwestern Pennsylvania and the Upper St. Clair Athletic Association. Jim enjoys participating in competitive sports, including running, golfing and skiing and has coached youth baseball, softball, basketball and wrestling. He and his wife, Carla, have six children and live in Upper St. Clair, where they attend St. Louise de Marillac Church.
