About Greg Weimer

At the core of his personal and professional life, Greg is passionate about helping individuals and families maximize their lives and legacies. His dedication to this mission shines through as an individual, wealth manager, and leader.
With decades of experience guiding clients’ wealth and supporting the growth of individuals and families, Greg’s journey began in 1986 as a financial advisor. He went on to join American Funds Distributors in 1993, where he became senior vice president and served on the Board of Directors. Recognized for his ingenuity and leadership, Greg earned American Funds’ Daniel C. Brown Award for creativity and was a two-time recipient of its Graham Holloway Award, honoring associates who exemplify the firm’s core values.
In recognition of his commitment to service and community impact, Greg was named Italian Man of the Year by the Pittsburgh Italian Scholarship Fund in 2024 and received the Community Caritas Award from Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Pittsburgh in 2025. Greg attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned a business degree with a concentration in computer science and mathematics.
He serves on the Board of Directors of UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, is Vice Chair of the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation, and sits on the hospital’s Executive and Finance Committees. Greg is also a Knight of the Order of Malta and a board member of South Hills Catholic Academy of Pittsburgh. Greg and his wife, Lori, live in Pittsburgh’s South Hills. They enjoy spending time with their four children and six grandchildren.
