Confluence Financial Partners (CFP), a growing financial services firm based in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a dynamic professional to serve as the firm’s Staff Accountant. Candidates would have the ability to be based in any of our three Pittsburgh offices (McMurray, Downtown, Wexford). The successful candidate will be able to balance the day-to-day bookkeeping duties, accounts payable function, process payroll, and assist with the billing process.   • Payroll – Process the bi-weekly payroll for the organization
  • Accounts Payable – Ensure all expenses are paid on time throughout the year
  • Bookkeeping – Use QuickBooks to record revenues and expenses
  • Billing – Assist the COO with the billing process
  • Budgeting – Assist the COO with the annual budgeting process and keep profit and loss forecasts up to date
  • Benefits – Help employees (new and existing) sign up and modify their benefits (health insurance, 401(k), etc.)
  • Other financial tasks that arise


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Experience processing payroll
  • Microsoft Excel experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, protect confidentiality, and multi-task with ease
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Goal-oriented personality, with demonstrated track record of achievement
