EPISODE 13

Sabrina Saunders Mosby, President and CEO of Vibrant Pittsburgh, on Culture, Community & Living with Purpose.

SEPTEMBER 2, 2026

Success isn't measured only by professional achievements. It's shaped by the culture we build, the people we invest in, and the legacy we leave behind.

“There's always one thing left undone, unsaid, unsettled. And that's the chair that exists in every funeral.”

Greg Weimer sits down with Sabrina Saunders Mosby, President & CEO of Vibrant Pittsburgh, for a thoughtful conversation about leadership, workplace culture, burnout, and what it truly means to live with intention.

Sabrina shares how her journey through government, nonprofit leadership, and economic development has reinforced the importance of creating workplaces where people genuinely want to be. Together, they explore the value of grit, the power of community, balancing ambition with presence, and why the greatest measure of success is the impact we have on others. Along the way, Sabrina reflects on her TED talk, The Joy of Missing Out, the lessons she learned from burnout, and how working alongside her family’s funeral business has transformed her perspective on life and legacy.
