Erik Tomalis

Erik is new to Confluence Financial Partners, where he joined the team in 2020. He believes his past 20 years of philanthropic experience is an ideal foundation for his work in his next 20 years in supporting individuals and families. In the past, Erik helped non-profit organizations address their financial concerns and developed strategies to further each organization’s mission or programs by focusing on specific goals, objectives and needs. Today, he utilizes the same technique with assisting Confluence’s financial advisors as they help individuals achieve their personal financial goals for their families.

Attention to detail, good listening skills and great empathy are symbols of his appreciation by his friends and clients. He is effectively supported by a team of financial specialists whose professionalism help him build long-term relationships with his growing client base and provide excellent customer service.  Through all of this experience, Erik understands fully the ways to be successful in building authentic relationships.

Erik resides in the North Hills (Mars/Cranberry) area with his lovely wife, Kate and their overly excited sheltie puppies (Winnie & Willett).  He is an Eagle Scout and is a graduate of Duquesne University and The Fundraising School of Indiana University. Erik is active in his community and participates in several local organizations: American Lung Association, Boy Scouts of America, JDRF, Duquesne Alumni Council and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.  Erik is an avid Duquesne Basketball and Pittsburgh sports fan; he enjoys skiing, trapshooting, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.
