With over 35 years of experience, Dick Junker comes to Confluence with a wealth of knowledge, leadership and wisdom under his belt. He earned a BS degree from the Business and Economics school of Lehigh University. Dick started his career as a sales engineer in the steel industry. However, with the changing nature and market in the steel industry, he began to rethink his career and where it was headed. After guidance and encouragement from a dear friend who happened to be his investment advisor, Dick pivoted and joined the wealth management industry.
Dick became an investment advisor in 1987 and spent the bulk of his career with A.G. Edwards and its subsequent parent firms before joining Stifel Nicolaus in 2011. Having known Scott Rogowicz since 1991, they formed a partnership in 2018, where they continue to focus on individual wealth management, addressing long-term goals of asset accumulation and distribution while implementing risk management strategies and providing personalized service to their clients.
An elder in his Presbyterian church, Dick’s community service has included terms on the boards of Residential Care Services and South Hills YMCA. A native of the South Hills of Pittsburgh, he and his wife Kate currently live in Mt. Lebanon, while splitting time at Chautauqua Institution and their home in Colorado, where their son and his family live and he can enjoy hobbies like skiing, hiking, bike riding and water sports.
