Sean Stevenson
Wealth Associate | CFP®
Sean first became interested in wealth management after meeting with his parent’s financial advisor at a young age. That experience, coupled with working at his family business, Bulldog Office Products, and eventually experiencing the sale of their second-generation business, fueled him to join the industry and strive to serve privately-held business owners.
Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Enterprise Risk Management and a Minor in Finance from Penn State University, Smeal College of Business. While at Penn State, Sean was a donor and fundraiser for THON, which is a student-run philanthropy to help children and families impacted by childhood cancer.
Before joining Confluence Financial Partners, Sean worked at Deloitte in Rosslyn, Virginia, where he was a Risk & Financial Advisory Analyst for the federal government. Sean is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and a self-proclaimed nerd when it comes to all things financial planning and investment management.
Sean grew up playing hockey and baseball and now channels his competitive spirit into CrossFit competitions. He remains actively involved in the community through charitable events and organizations such as the Resurrection Parish and the Freemasons Society. He also serves on the junior board for the National Aviary. Sean married his college sweetheart, Valerie, and they reside in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with their mini-Australian shepherd, Milo.
