Wealth Associate
Job Description
Wealth Associates serve an essential function within the Wealth Planning department at Confluence Financial Partners. Wealth Associates offer support to the entire firm by designing wealth plans for individual clients, and preparing written recommendations for clients and advisors, based on each client’s unique situation. In addition, Wealth Associates partner with individual Wealth Mangers to provide tax and estate analysis for clients when necessary. This vital role helps to ensure that the firm provides outstanding service to clients and provides a career path that can lead to wealth manager, analyst, or other careers in finance.
Wealth Associates will have a background and education in Finance, with a desire to learn and grow, and contribute to the overall success of the firm. Successful candidates will be organized and thoughtful in their approach to task completion and must embrace the company core values of Do Right, Improve Everyday, Enjoy the Journey, and Be Thankful!
Responsibilities
- Successfully utilize the firm’s technology stack to fulfill client and advisor requests
- Create client financial planning deliverables, including wealth plans and reports
- Completely prepare for client meetings as necessary
- Prepare tax analysis reports and estate planning reports at the direction of the Director of Wealth Planning
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and translate that growth into the day-to-day operations of the firm
- Manage day-to-day schedule and balance activities within multiple departments
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field
- Previous internship or professional experience in finance or related field preferred
- Professional and friendly demeanor, both in-person and on the phone
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, protect confidentiality, and multi-task with ease
- Goal-oriented personality, with demonstrated track record of achievement
- Technical acumen and the ability to learn quickly

Job Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt
Salary: Starting at $60,000
Reports To: Director of Wealth Planning
Work Location: Greater Pittsburgh Region
