  • Jared Nicholson

    Jared joined Confluence after spending over a decade teaching high school math and business courses. Jared’s decision to pursue a career in financial advising was driven by his desire to help others and create meaningful relationships. Jared is passionate about helping clients understand their finances – including where they currently are, where they would like to be, and how to enjoy the path along the way.

    Jared graduated from Capital University with a degree in Mathematics and minors in Finance and Economics. He also played football while at Capital. He then received his Master of Arts in Teaching degree from The University of Pittsburgh.

    In his spare time, Jared enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and spending time outdoors – especially fishing and skiing. Jared resides in the South Hills with his wife, Emily, and their son, Troy.

  • Corey Taylor

    Corey is driven by a passion for empowering and helping others to achieve long lasting legacies for their families and communities they love. In his role at Confluence Corey is a member of the Wealth Planning Team and specializes in helping individuals and families maximize their lives and legacies through intricate wealth management and strategic investment strategies. Corey also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and the CHARTERED FINANCIAL CONSULTANT™ certifications from the CFP Board and the American College of Financial Services.

    Corey graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Eberly College of Business and Information Technology. Before joining Confluence Financial Partners in 2021, Corey began his wealth management career at PNC as a Fiduciary Trust Officer assisting clients with the management of various trust investment accounts.

    Corey currently lives in the South Hills with his lovely wife Kayte. In his personal time, he is avid within the Pittsburgh hockey community and enjoys giving back to the organizations he was a part of growing up. He also enjoys golfing and spending time with friends and family.  

  • Matt Kimmich

    Growing up, Matt has been involved in leadership opportunities teaching him the importance of hard work, perseverance, and determination. Matt began working for Confluence in January of 2024 where he believed the financial services industry helped him best utilize those experiences. Watching his grandfather and father over the years help and serve others helped him realize the difference Confluence can make in people’s lives.

    Matt attended Grove City College and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. While at Grove City, he was a two-year captain for the Men’s Soccer team, while being awarded several leadership awards in the process. Currently, Matt serves as an Associate Wealth Manager on the Kimmich Team helping clients meet their retirement planning, estate & tax planning, and philanthropic needs.

    Matt and his wife reside in Zelienople. They attend Allegheny Center Alliance Church. In his spare time, Matt enjoys running, watching Pittsburgh sports, and traveling with his wife.

  • Sean Stevenson

    Sean first became interested in wealth management after meeting with his parent’s financial advisor at a young age. That experience, coupled with working at his family business, Bulldog Office Products, and eventually experiencing the sale of their second-generation business, fueled him to join the industry and strive to serve privately-held business owners and those enjoying (or close to) retirement.

    Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Enterprise Risk Management and a Minor in Finance from Penn State University, Smeal College of Business. While at Penn State, Sean was a donor and fundraiser for THON, which is a student-run philanthropy to help children and families impacted by childhood cancer.

    Before joining Confluence Financial Partners, Sean worked at Deloitte in Rosslyn, Virginia, where he was a Risk & Financial Advisory Analyst for the federal government. Sean is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and a self-proclaimed nerd when it comes to all things financial planning and investment management.

    Sean grew up playing hockey and baseball and now channels his competitive spirit into CrossFit competitions. He remains actively involved in the community through charitable events and organizations such as the Resurrection Parish and the Freemasons Society. He also serves on the junior board for the National Aviary. Sean married his college sweetheart, Valerie, and they reside in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with their mini-Australian shepherd, Milo.

  • Dave Cashdollar

    Dave joins Confluence Financial Partners with more than 40 years of experience in serving clients as the Founder of Cashdollar & Associates. The focal point of Dave’s career has been to serve multi-generations of families and to be a firm where associates can learn and grow.

    Dave understands that each client is unique and he finds joy in being a problem solver for their needs and goals. He finds fulfilment in serving multi-generations of families – some of which have spanned 4 generations. He looks forward to continuing to serve clients at Confluence.

    He holds of B.A. in Education from Grove City College and a Masters of Education from Slippery Rock University. Dave holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, which he earned in 1983. He has been a member of The American Funds Advisory Council for 33 years.

    Dave cares deeply about his community and has served in various roles with the YMCA, Chamber of Commerce, and Mercer County Industrial Development. Currently, Dave is a Trustee of Grove City College and has served at his church, Tower Presbyterian Church, as Deacon, Elder, and Trustee.

    Dave and his wife, Kathleen, reside in Grove City. The couple enjoys spending time with their family, especially being involved in their grandchildren’s athletic activities.

  • Tim Cashdollar

    Tim joins Confluence Financial Partners with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, Tim served as a financial advisor at Cashdollar & Associates, where he guided clients in developing their financial plans and managing their portfolios. Prior to Cashdollar & Associates, Tim was a Regional Vice President with John Hancock Financial. Tim holds the Certified Retirement Counselor® designation.

    Tim and his family live in Valencia, PA.

  • Eric Montgomery

    Eric joins Confluence Financial Partners with 12 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently as a Financial Advisor with Cashdollar & Associates where he worked with clients in managing their wealth. Eric began his career at Mercer County Bank and Hill Barth & King before joining Cashdollar & Associates in 2018.

    He graduated from Grove City College with a degree in Business Management and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.

    As Eric grew up, he learned valuable life lessons like hard work and sacrifice while working at his family’s business, a hometown hardware store. Working in the business gave him an appreciation for helping people make the most of what they had, identifying goals and objectives, and watching them work towards the life they envisioned for themselves and their families. Understanding how hard clients have worked for what they have has made it easy and enjoyable for Eric to connect with them.

    Eric and his family reside in Jackson Center where he volunteers his time as Treasurer of the borough as well as the local fire department. He is also a board member of the local Chamber of Commerce.

    Eric, his wife, and daughter enjoy spending time together going on camping trips. The family attends Victory Family Church.

  • George Epitropoulos

    With nearly a decade of experience in financial services, George takes pride in guiding individuals and families through important financial decisions with clarity and care. Before joining Confluence Financial Partners, he worked at BNY Mellon, supporting institutional investors through fund accounting of derivative products and alternative assets, setting a foundation for executing detail-focused financial planning.

    George earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh. He is currently pursuing the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification to further deepen his expertise and better serve clients through comprehensive planning and investment strategy.

    Outside the office, George is active in Pittsburgh’s Greek-American community and is a member of both the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) and Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. He enjoys coaching soccer, playing golf, and making annual trips to visit family and friends in Karpathos, Greece.

  • Sophia Hudson

    Sophia’s passion to serve clients in the financial service industry developed at a young age as she was exposed to discussions with her family’s financial planner. As the years went on, Sophia’s understanding of how financial peace of mind and the power of wealth creation can impact one’s life and family’s life grew and directed her to a career in the financial services industry.

    Sophia attended Lafayette College and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. While at Lafayette, she was a member of the Women’s Soccer Program, serving as captain her senior year, and earned Lafayette’s Certificate in Financial Policy and Analysis. Sophia was an intern at Confluence, earned her Certificate of Financial Planning from Boston University and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. Currently, she serves as a Associate Wealth Manager on the Cashdollar Team where she utilizes her financial planning and interpersonal skills working with clients and their families. She has spent significant time with the Investment Advisory and Wealth Planning Teams and currently sits on the Investment Advisory Committee.

    Sophia is a member of Northway Christian Community Church. Outside of the office, she enjoys working out, playing the occasional game of pick-up soccer, and taking on home renovation projects within her Oakmont residence.

  • Rande Casaday

    Rande joins Confluence with more than 38 years of experience in the financial services industry. Rande’s joy through his career has been working with and deepening the relationships he has with his clients.

    Rande is a graduate of California State University, received his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, and is a U.S. Army Veteran. Prior to joining Confluence, Rande served clients at Stifel Financial, A.G. Edwards, Wells Fargo, and Legg Mason. Rande is excited to be a part of the Confluence team where he will be able to offer clients additional resources and expertise for their financial planning and investment management needs.

    Rande and his wife reside in Canonsburg and have a combined 5 children and 5 grandchildren. In his spare time, Rande serves on the Board of Concordia Lutheran Services, a Western PA senior care non-profit, enjoys riding bikes, and traveling with his family.
