Dave brings a wealth of expertise to his role as Director of Retirement Plan Services at Confluence Financial Partners, where he helps organizations design and manage employer-sponsored retirement plans while serving as a trusted business consultant. He works closely with plan sponsors to help ensure plan structure, fiduciary responsibilities, and employee engagement are fully aligned with each client’s overall employee benefits strategy.
With more than 20 years in financial services, and 18 of those dedicated to the retirement plan industry, Dave has worked on both the record-keeper side, with TIAA, and the advisory side, helping multiple firms build and grow their local retirement plan operations. Since earning his degree in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh, he has consulted on a wide range of plans, from complex 403(b) plans in the non-profit sector and multiple-vendor higher education plans to traditional 401(k) and defined benefit pension plans. His approach combines technical knowledge with a practical understanding of plan governance, compliance, investments, and employee engagement.
Based in Oakmont, Dave is deeply involved in his community, supporting organizations such as the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix and Breakthrough T1D. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching his sons’ teams, golfing, weight training, and collecting classic Mopar muscle cars.
