Chuck joined Confluence Financial Partners in 2016 as a wealth manager, adding a remarkable perspective to the firm. Born in Greece, he and his parents immigrated to the United States in 1967, and settled in New Castle, Pennsylvania. They later moved to Youngstown, Ohio, where Chuck was raised.
Chuck earned a B.A. degree in economics at the University of Pittsburgh, then his master’s degree at Youngstown State University. He was a financial advisor with A.G. Edwards from 1993 to 2003, then branch manager of the Sewickley office through 2011. That’s when he and Joe Tabaka, whom he had met at Pitt, formed the Kolias-Tabaka Wealth Management Team, based on a conservative, client-focused approach with exceptional service.
A firm believer in giving back, Chuck served on the sports auction committee for the Epilepsy Foundation of Western/Central Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association. He is a Pittsburgh sports fan whose love of golf led him to organize impactful fundraisers for St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Pittsburgh, Cystic Fibrosis and ALS/Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Chuck and his wife, Cathy, live in Cranberry Township.
