Jacob Fahringer

Jacob Fahringer began his career as an educator with the desire to help students and families improve their lives. Now as the Director of Operations at Confluence, Jacob allows that same desire to guide his day-to-day work life.

Jacob graduated Cum Laude from Grove City College, with a degree in education. He was also recognized as the college’s Student Teacher of the Year. Following years of teaching middle and high school English, Jacob began an administrative career in both private schooling and as a government contractor for the US Department of Labor. During this tenure, Jacob served as an Academic Manager, Training Director, and Center Director for the operations of Job Corps Centers in Washington, DC and Charleston, WV. These positions gave Jacob countless opportunities to design and implement systems, a skill which serves him well as Confluence’s Director of Operations. He brings a unique perspective and ability to think outside the box as he guides the operations of the firm.

Jacob is a central Pennsylvania native, who grew up in the small city of Sunbury, north of Harrisburg. He is excited to come back to Pennsylvania and put down roots in the Pittsburgh region. Outside of work, Jacob enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, watching movies, hanging out with friends and family, and traveling…ANYWHERE! Previously, Jacob has served as a coach for both youth soccer and basketball, something he hopes to get back into very soon. Additionally, Jacob is excited to spend time camping in the areas surrounding the city of Pittsburgh. Jacob and his wife, Jacqueline, live in Robinson, with their three-year old son, Kiran, who keeps them both busy with his active imagination and endless energy.
