Loren joined Confluence Financial Partners as a Wealth Manager in 2019, bringing more than 20 years of experience in financial services.
Before Confluence, he served clients in Pittsburgh’s eastern suburbs as a financial advisor at PNC Investments. He began his career as a licensed associate at KeyCorp/McDonald Investments, then became a financial advisor associate at UBS, where he focused on portfolio research and core wealth management services. Loren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and earned his CFP certification through Duquesne University.
Growing up in a family-owned grocery business in the Laurel Highlands shaped Loren’s approach to advice. He understands the realities small business owners face, from cash flow and seasonality to succession and family dynamics. That background helps him communicate clearly about goals and build practical, tailored strategies that balance personal and business objectives.
Outside of work, Loren enjoys fishing and sport shooting, including skeet, sporting clays, and trap. He serves on the Treesdale Commons Master Plan Advisory Committee and volunteers with the Red Door Pittsburgh at Divine Mercy Parish. Loren and his wife, Janel, are proud parents of two children, Sebastian and Wila, and they are thoroughly enjoying this stage of parenthood.
